Country Assignments Sent OutConfirmed Schools for MARC MUN 2008Committee Topics Now PostedIB MARC MUN 2008 T-SHIRT DESIGN NOW POSTEDClick on the link under MUN resources to see images of the shirt and the front and back images. The t-shirt is a co-branding effort with TS Designs from Burlington, North Carolina. This year, we have put together a t-shirt that is environmentally and socially responsible.
Each shirt is made with: T-shirts will be sold on a first come, first served basis so bring your cash to opening ceremony because this shirt will sell out. T-shirts are available in Short Sleeve Southern Red sizes S - XXL. REGISTRATION MATERIALS NOW POSTED!!!Hotel Agreement MadeWe have worked out an agreement with the Fairfield Inn in Woodbridge, Virginia. This hotel is located 1 mile from Gar-Field High School. The group rate is $99 a night. This rate includes a continental breakfast. Please mention the MARC Model UN Conference at Gar-Field High School when calling. We will be monitoring the reservations and can offer additional accommodations if we fill the Fairfield Inn. We have blocked out rooms until December 5th.
Video ContestAs part of the 2008 conference, we would like to run a video contest that asks students to use their technology skills to showcase a global issue of interest related to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. IB Regional Organization agrees to sponsor IB MARC MUN 2008 for another yearMARC members vote June 11th to sponsor MARC MUN 2008. More info will be posted. MARC MUN dates set for Jan 11th and 12th.
